Rich Cartwright Excellence in Hazardous Materials Leadership Award Criteria

Submission Deadline: April 30

This award honors an outstanding AHMP Professional Member or Emerging Professional Member who has demonstrated a positive influence and passion in advancing hazardous materials compliance and standards. Although not limited to activities in the award year, it need not be as long term or broad in scope as that for the Pete Cook Founder’s Award.

Nominees must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

• Nominee must be an AHMP Professional Member or Emerging Professional Member in good standing.
• Contributions may extend beyond the current award year and are not required to be long-term or as broad in scope as those recognized by the Pete Cook Founder’s Award.

Nominees will be evaluated based on the following areas:

• Demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in advancing hazardous materials compliance and standards.
• Evidence of professional achievements and leadership that show a positive influence in advancing hazardous materials compliance and standards
• Clear demonstration of actions that uphold and promote the integrity, credibility, and professional standards of EHS&S credentials and of the AHMP Strategic Plan.
