AHMP'S NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) industry professionals meet each year at AHMP's National Conference to learn about the latest developments in the management of hazardous materials. The conference includes a comprehensive technical program; numerous networking opportunities; an awards recognition program; pre- and post-conference workshops; an exhibit hall showcasing the latest products, services, and resources; and a full-scale emergency response scenario. AHMP’s National Conference is an outstanding education platform for CHMMs, CHMPs, CDGPs, CDGTs, CSPs, and CIHs, as well as those with engineering and geology licenses.

ESSENTIALS OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT COURSE

The Essentials of Hazardous Materials Management (EHMM) course is an excellent educational program for EHS&S professionals. The course is a cross-training tool that helps professionals quickly and effectively obtain knowledge in new areas. It provides instruction about laws and regulations, technologies, and practices in an overview manner, with the goal of emphasizing what hazardous materials managers need to know to better accomplish their jobs.

While credentialed professionals can use the EHMM course hours toward recertification, this program is also a comprehensive introduction for individuals new the EHS&S field as well as an excellent refresher for those who are more seasoned.

Typically a three-day program, the course is offered periodically throughout the year by AHMP local chapters and universities.
