Montopolis Greenbelt benefits from inaugural Alliance of Hazardous Materials ProfessionalsTM (AHMP) Community Service Project

Austin, Texas – (Aug. 17, 2011) – Through a partnership with the Montopolis Tributary Trail Association, national leaders from the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) will donate time, resources and expertise to a clean-up project of the Montopolis Greenbelt on Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. until noon.

INSTRUCTIONS: You must make a nomination specific to the positions listed below. Before making a nomination ensure that the individual being nominated meets the minimum requirements identified below. In addition, please refer to the Leadership Nominations Criteria and evaluate your candidate for desirable characteristics of an AHMP leader.

AHMP is the VOICE of its membership and with that voice we pledge to you today that we will work to gain more recognition for the work you do as hazardous materials professionals.

Each of you has a voice within your community, your company and the environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) industry. Collectively, we can bring more visibility to the work you do, but we must work together to achieve it. So please do two things:

Recertification of CHMM Credential

All Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMMs) are required to be recertified every five years, in order to remain current with the rapid changes and new developments in the environmental, health and safety field.
