FEMA introduces new website for the private sector
To improve information sharing and coordination between the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the private sector, a new website has been launched to assist employers with disaster planning, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.
The website puts resources at employers' fingertips, such as:
- Flood and hazard maps,
- How to get help in an emergency,
- How to help others in a disaster,
- How to recover and rebuild,
- Criteria for business recovery, and
- FEMA Mitigation Directorate.
