The AHMP National Awards process promotes and improves hazardous materials management as a profession through the recognition of superior accomplishments in the areas of education, training, research, and performance.

- Volunteer Leaders – As a member–focused organization, AHMP is governed and advised by a distinguished group of active volunteer leaders representing a broad cross–section of the environmental, health, safety and security industry.
